彎月透鏡與其它透鏡組合可加長或縮短原有透鏡的焦距,在系統(tǒng)中不增加球差或慧差。彎月透鏡分為正彎月透鏡和負(fù)彎月透鏡:
正彎月(凸)透鏡設(shè)計用于最小化球差。與另一透鏡結(jié)合使用時,正彎月透鏡可以減小焦距,從而在不引入明顯球面像差的情況下,增加系統(tǒng)數(shù)值孔徑(NA)。當(dāng)用于會聚平行光時,透鏡的凸面應(yīng)朝向光源,以使球差最小化。
